I felt so sad when Aaliyah died so suddenly and in such a horrific way but the first thing i wanted to do after hearing the news was to go and buy her CDs before the shops stop stocking them so no i don't think it is a good idea to stop the sale of music by artists that have passed away.

Nothing wrong with selling her music after her death. On the contrary her fans would want something to remeber her for.

what a tradegy but i'm afraid to say, that's life and the show must go on. Surely there isn't anything wrong with selling her work after her death as long as a next of kin is getting paid for it.

The music industry clean up from their artists while they are alive and they're not gonna stop just because they are dead.

Please spare us the crap about dead musicians. Artists don't become famous until they're dead either.
