I was in my late 40s when I got my first tattoo and, nearly 10 years later, have just had my third. All very tasteful and discreet so they can be covered up for work!

small tattoos look good in the right places but make sure they can be covered up when you get older in case you don't like them any more.

both my parents have been tattooists alll of my life.my mom runs a tattoo shop and goes to conventions.she has had pictures of her work printed in famous magazines and won awards.she is a very successful business women and i am very proud of her just as proud as i would be if she was a famous hairdresser,singer or even a doctor!in my life i have seen many different people have tattoos.having a tattoo doesnt make you a criminal or bad person just as having one doesnt make you a nice person.it used to make me angry when i heard people say they didnt like tattoos or the people that have them but now i think everybody is entitled to there own opinion on anything just as long as they dont shove there views in your face

I can't see anything wrong with tattoos even if someone had them from head to foot and that is coming from someone who hasn't got any. Women and some men slap all sorts of things on their face and skin to make themselves look pretty or express themselves. I think an insane thing to do is to go to a tanning salon and give yorself skin cancer just to make skin look browner. Those people might do themselves a favour if they got themselves tattooed from head to toe in the colour of their choice. It will last forever and its cheaper too.

There is nothing wrong with tattoos as long as the picture is not obscene like of naked women or things like that. I have a tiny tattoo on my right bum cheek and i can assure people that it hasn't made me any more or less of a person than anyone else.

I know a lot of people with tattoos and they are not criminals actually they are very decent people and a pleasure to know. I know for a fact that some of the people i know that have tattoos are much nicer people than many so called pillars of society that wear suits and boots all day everyday.

No matter how popular tatoos get i will never get used to them. I know so many people in the public eye have them from singers to sportsmen but that doesn't take away from the fact that they are ugly and still strongly associated with criminals and anti-social people.

Tattoos are cool as long as they are done in moderation like most things in life. By getting to many tattoos done is inviting people to look and judge.

I was going to get a tattoo done once but chickened out in the last minute and i'm glad i did because we were all drunk at the time and one of my mates who went ahead got a rose tattooed on her bum and regrets it even though it is in the most discreet place it could possibly be

I think tattoo's are so cool. There is nothing wrong with having one done, i should know because i have had 5 done over the past 12 years and i don't regret it and never will. Tatoo's are an ancient art form and in many civilisations are used to identify tribes and distinguish between status of people. It's only in the West that they have been villified and given a bad name but things are changing for the better.

I haven't got one but i know a hell of a lot of people that do and i can't see anything wrong with it. I can't see myself ever getting one but i wouldn't dare frown upon anyone that did, after all it's just ink.
